இந்தப் பாஸ் மூலம் தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலைகளில் உள்ள சுங்கச்சாவடிகளை ஆண்டு முழுவதும் அதிபட்சம் 200 முறை கடந்து செல்ல முடியும்.

இந்த வருடாந்திர பாஸ் திட்டம் சரக்கு வாகனங்கள் அல்லாத காா், ஜீப் மற்றும் வேன்கள் உட்பட தனியாா் வாகனங்களுக்கு மட்டுமானதாகும். 

இந்தப் பாஸ் திட்டத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் புதுப்பித்தலுக்கான வசதிகள் 'ராஜ்மாா்க் யாத்ரா' செயலி மற்றும் இந்திய தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை ஆணையம் (என்ஹெச்ஏஐ), மத்திய சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலைத் துறை (எம்ஓஆா்டிஹெச்) வலைதளங்களில் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நாடு முழுவதும் ஆகஸ்ட் 15ஆம் தேதி முதல் சுங்கச்சாவடிகளில் ஃபாஸ்டேக் மூலம் கட்டணம் செலுத்த வருடாந்திர பாஸ் அறிமுகப்படுத்த உள்ளதாக மத்திய போக்குவரத்துத் துறை அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

இதன் மூலம் ஆண்டுக்கு ரூ. 3000 செலுத்தி பாஸ் வாங்கினால் 200 முறை சுங்கச்சாவடிகளை கடந்து செல்லலாம். கார், ஜீப், வேன் போன்ற தனிநபர் பயன்பாட்டு வாகனங்களுக்கு மட்டுமே இது பொருந்தும் எனவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ரூ.3000 பாஸ் மூலம் சுங்கச்சாவடிகளில் காத்திருக்காமல் எளிதாக செல்ல முடியும் எனவும் மத்திய அமைச்சர் நிதின் கட்கரி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

In a transformative step towards hassle-free highway travel, we are introducing a FASTag-based Annual Pass priced at ₹3,000, effective from 15th August 2025. Valid for one year from the date of activation or up to 200 trips—whichever comes first—this pass is designed exclusively for non-commercial private vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans. 

The Annual Pass will enable seamless and cost-effective travel across National Highways throughout the country. A dedicated link for activation and renewal will soon be made available on the Rajmarg Yatra App as well as on the official websites of NHAI and MoRTH. 

This policy addresses long-standing concerns regarding toll plazas located within a 60 km range and simplifies toll payments through a single, affordable transaction. By reducing wait times, easing congestion, and minimizing disputes at toll plazas, the Annual Pass aims to deliver a faster and smoother travel experience for millions of private vehicle owners

What is the FASTag Annual Pass? 

Annual Pass activated on the FASTag allows free passage of private car/jeep/van at designated National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) fee plazas for one year or 200 trips (whichever is earlier), without per-trip user fee charges. The Annual Pass will be effective from 15th August 2025. 

Where can I purchase the Annual Pass? 

The Annual Pass can be activated only on the Rajmargyatra mobile application and NHAI website.

How will the Annual Pass be activated? 

The Annual Pass will be activated after verifying the eligibility of the vehicle and the associated FASTag. Upon successful verification, the user must make a payment of ₹3,000 for the base year 2025–26 through the Rajmargyatra mobile application or NHAI website. Once the payment is confirmed, the Annual Pass will be activated on the registered FASTag normally within 2 hours.

If I already have a FASTag, do I need to buy a new one for the Annual Pass? 

No. You do not need to purchase a new FASTag. The Annual Pass can be activated on your existing FASTag, provided it meets the eligibility criteria (i.e., it is properly affixed on the vehicle’s windshield, linked to a valid Vehicle Registration Number, not blacklisted etc).
