RAJ BHAVAN, TAMIL NADU DECIDED TO POSTPONE HOSTING OF "AT HOME RECEPTION" ON INDEPENDENCE DAY 2023, DUE TO HEAVY RAINS. Due to incessant heavy rains in and around Guindy area, the Main Lawns in Raj Bhavan is flooded with water. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that thunderstorms and rains will continue tomorrow (15.8.2023) also. In view of heavy rains and to avoid any inconvenience to the guests, Raj Bhavan decided to postpone the "At Home Reception". However, the "At Home Reception" will be hosted soon and the date will be communicated in due course.
