செப்டம்பர் 1 முதல் Register Post சேவை நிறுத்தப்படுவதாக அஞ்சல்துறை அறிவிப்பு

இந்திய தபால் துறை வெளியிட்டுள்ள முக்கிய அறிவிப்பில் செப்டம்பர் 1 முதல் Register Post சேவை நிறுத்தப்படுவதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

பொதுமக்கள் Speed Post சேவையை மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்த முடியும் எனத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்திய தபால் துறையில் நீண்டகாலமாக செயல்பட்டு வந்த பதிவு தபால் சேவையும், ரயில் மெயில் சேவையும் இந்த ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் மாதம் முதல் ரத்து செய்யப்பட உள்ளதாக அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகியுள்ளது.

இனி இந்தியாவிற்குள் தரைவழியாக மட்டுமே தபால்கள் பிறமாநிலங்களுக்கு பட்டுவாடா செய்யப்பட உள்ளது.பதிவுதபால், ஆர்.எம்.எஸ்., சேவை ரத்துக்கு தபால் ஊழியர்கள் சங்கங்கள் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்துள்ளன.

தபால் ஊழியர் சங்கங்கள் கடும் எதிர்ப்பை தெரிவித்துள்ளன. 

இந்த முடிவால் ஊழியர் பணிநீக்கம் ஏற்படும். கிராமப்புற மக்கள் இன்னும் பதிவு தபாலை நம்பிக்கையுடன் பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள், எனவே இந்த சேவையை மேம்படுத்தி தொடர்ந்து வைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே அவர்கள் கோரிக்கை.

Subject: Action regarding amendment of administrative instructions, SOPS, operational guidelines, etc., consequent to the proposed merger of Registered Post with Speed Post-reg.

1.This is with reference to the proposed merger of the "Registered Post service with the "Speed Post service for domestic transmission, approved by the Secretary and Director General. The merger is scheduled to be implemented with effect from 01.09.2025.

2. The initiative aims to streamline mail services, enhance operational efficiency, improve tracking mechanisms, and deliver greater customer convenience by consolidating similar services under a unified framework.

3 In light of the upcoming operational integration, it is imperative that all concerned Directorates and Divisions undertake a comprehensive review of their existing administrative instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), functional orders, workflow documents, technical manuals, training content, and any other documents where references to 'Registered Post" or "Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due" exist

4 Necessary modifications must be made to ensure alignment with the revised operational framework, and references to 'Registered Post" may be suitably replaced with Speed Post terminology or removed, as required.

5. All amendments may be finalized well in advance to ensure smooth rollout from the stipulated date. A confirmation on the action taken may kindly be sent to this office by 31.07.2025.
